This flower kit is really easy to make. Frame these beauties in box frames and give them as gifts that will be treasured for years to come or hang them on your own wall.
The kits contains basic quilling instructions (that teach all the different scrolls and rolls), specific instructions for all 4 pictures shown and the necessary paper
and wires to create these beautiful flowers. It does not contain frames, mounting paper or mats.
Other supplies needed to start quilling: quilling tool, white craft glue, sharp scissors, ruler, straight pins, tweezers and a quilling board (9x12" corrugated
cardboard or cork board with waxed paper wrapped around it). It would also be useful to acquire a fringer to make these flowers but it is not necessary,
you can cut the paper with scissors.
History: Quilling dates back to the 16th century when French and Italian nuns created ornate borders to embellish religious articles. During the 18th century
it was encouraged as a proper pastime, and you can find examples of quilling in many museums. Many modern day scrap bookers use quilled items to embellish their
work.
Here are individual photos of items you can make with this kit.
