Quilling or paper filigree is the art of creating designs with narrow strips of paper that have been rolled, shaped and arranged to form designs. Quilling is one of the easiest crafts to learn. Nearly all quilling is done with just a few variations of basic rolls and scrolls.

Other supplies needed to start quilling: a good book for ideas, quilling tools, a selection of paper strips, white craft glue, sharp scissors, ruler, straight pins, tweezers and a quilling board (9x12" corrugated cardboard or cork board with waxed paper wrapped around it).
