A Glue Cap with Needle Tip Applicator will save you enough money in glue to pay for itself over and over. This is the absolute best invest I have made. It gives a very small amount of glue which is necessary for making neat paper quilling coils.
To care for and keep your tip from drying out while in use, simply use a small container and put a piece of damp paper towel in the bottom, I use a shot glass, it is heavy enough that it does not turn over and I can reach the glue easily. When you are not using the glue turn it upside down with the tip on the moist (NOT WET) paper, see below. Replace the pin if you are done for the day, or will not be using it for several days.
To clean your tip if it should get clogged, simply take the tip off the cap and soak it in warm water and run the pin through from both ends. IF stored and used properly it will not get clogged. Another tip, be very careful with the tip, it does bend easily.
What ever you do do not loose the pin that goes into the tip. You will most likely never find another that will fit the tiny opening.
